IS + T RENOVATION.
In the spring and summer of 2018, Boston University renovated over 48,000 square feet of space in three locations on its Boston campus to house their Information Services and Technology groups. As a nationally recognized international private research university, BU is committed to educating students to be reflective and resourceful individuals able to live, adapt and lead in an interconnected world. As such, it was especially important that this new renovation project reflected those goals. Working collaboratively with Dyer Brown architects, Workflow provided tailored furniture solutions for this extensive renovation.
While over three hundred workstations and private offices with height adjustable desks and wardrobe storage comprise the majority of the furniture, Boston University strived to include numerous fresh, fun common spaces throughout all three locations to encourage collaboration among employees. From high top tables and stools, to huddle rooms with upholstered bleacher seating, flexible training rooms and comfortable lounge areas, the spaces support multiple functions in this fast-growing department.
